## Terms of Service

### Open Source and Local-First

TokenSense is an open-source tool designed to run entirely locally. By using TokenSense, you agree to the open-source licensing terms provided in our repository.

### API Key Management

Since TokenSense operates locally and does not act as a centralized proxy gateway, **you are fully responsible for the secure management of your LLM provider API keys** (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI). We never collect, transmit, or store your API keys on our servers.

### Age Eligibility & DPDP Compliance

In accordance with the Indian **Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023**, processing data of minors requires verifiable parental consent. While we do not collect personal data, users deploying our open-source tools are prohibited from using them to knowingly process data of children without implementing their own compliant age verification workflows.

### Acceptable Use

You agree to use TokenSense responsibly. You must not use our software to conduct distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks against third-party providers or to violate the terms of service of any connected LLM provider.
